  CAL 117, and the rest of the submittal

  TB 117-2013 is written in California but specified across US contract interiors, and it is the flammability documentation most projects ask us for. Because upholstery is done in-house, compliance is documented against the fabric actually on your order rather than a generic range statement. Dimensions, weights, finishes and packaging are published per SKU for the submittal package, and CMHR fire-retardant foam is standard throughout.

  Freight, sized to the order

  Small orders and samples move LCL; a property fit-out moves as a full container. Either way the goods are crated at the factory and shipped through our nominated forwarders or yours, quoted ex-works with freight shown separately so it can be compared honestly. Import duty, customs brokerage and any tariff treatment sit with your broker; we supply the commercial invoice, packing list and origin declaration they will ask for.

  Why the lead time matters more at this distance

  Four weeks ex-works holds regardless of quantity, because frames, metalwork and upholstery are made in one building and there is no inter-supplier queue to slip. On a transatlantic order that predictability is worth more than it is inside Europe: the transit is the variable you cannot compress, so the production window is the one that has to be reliable. Quotes against a schedule return within one working day.

Do you supply CAL 117 documentation?

Yes, on request, matched to the fabric specified on the order. BS 5852 and EN 1021 can be documented instead where a project calls for them, and CMHR foam is standard across the range.

How do you ship to the United States?

Crated from the factory, by full container or LCL depending on order size, through our nominated forwarders or yours. Quotes are ex-works with freight shown separately; your customs broker handles the entry and any duty.

Is there a minimum order for US buyers?

No. Volume pricing starts at thirteen units, and sample units carry a further 25 percent discount, which is how most US buyers evaluate a range before committing to a container.
