Wholesale, without the middle.
Most wholesale seating has been bought twice before it reaches you: once by an importer, once by a distributor, each taking a margin and neither able to change anything about the chair. LIVSeating is the factory. Wood, metal and upholstery are worked in one building in Aveiro, Portugal, so trade buyers order at manufacturer pricing, specify their own fabric, and deal with the people who actually make the product.

Manufacturer pricing, not importer pricing
A wholesale price only means something if you know how many hands it has passed through. Ours is the first: the trade price list is issued from the factory, volume pricing starts at thirteen units, and there is no minimum order, so a single showroom buys on the same terms as a group rollout. Sample units carry a further 25 percent discount, which keeps the cost of trying a range low enough that it does not need a business case.

Stock ranges are somebody else's compromise
Buying from a wholesaler means buying what was containerised a year ago, in the fabric it happened to be made in. Because production starts when the order is confirmed, the specification is yours: six in-house contract fabric families with more than 120 colours, customer's own material on every upholstered model, wood or powder-coated steel frames, and per-part fabric selection on the configurator. Four weeks ex-works, whatever the combination.

One factory to hold responsible
When frames, metalwork and upholstery come from three suppliers, a fault becomes a conversation between three companies. Here they are one building under ISO 9001 quality management, with PEFC-certified timber and CMHR fire-retardant foam as standard. Quotes return within one working day and material samples are confirmed after project review.

Buying elsewhere is no different: we ship worldwide, crated, through our forwarders or yours. To open an account and receive the price list, apply for trade access. To browse by piece, see contract chairs, restaurant chairs or bar & counter stools. The supply process itself (lead times, quoting, making, shipping) is on the contract supply page.
- Do you sell wholesale to retailers and resellers?
- Yes. Furniture retailers, showrooms, contract dealers and fit-out companies buy at trade pricing, and the same range is available to resell. Apply for a trade account and the price list is issued against it.
- What is the minimum wholesale order?
- There is none. Volume pricing begins at thirteen units and scales with quantity, but a single chair orders at trade terms; most buyers start with a sample unit at a further 25 percent off.
- Are you a wholesaler or a manufacturer?
- A manufacturer. Everything is designed and made in our own facilities in Aveiro, Portugal, which is why specification is open and lead times hold at four weeks ex-works: there is no inter-supplier queue and no container already on the water.
- Can we resell under our own branding?
- Talk to us about the project. Customer's own material is accepted as standard on every upholstered model; anything beyond that is quoted case by case.
